Opus Orchestra & Dynamotion Dance Troupe presents Carnival of the Animals.
Step into the whimsical world of Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals,” with a distinctly kiwi twist!
This beloved orchestral suite, featuring fourteen enchanting pieces, paints a musical portrait of the animal kingdom with humor and music. From the stately strides of lions to the delicate dance of a graceful swan, each vignette bursts with life and character.
This October, the experience is elevated by the exuberant talents of Aotearoa’s own Dynamotion. This comedy-dance troupe brings fresh energy to the classic with their high-energy antics. Gather the family for this spectacular show where music meets theatrical comedy.
The talented Dynamotion dancing actors, choreographed and performed by the dynamic duo Tom Sainsbury and Lara Fischel-Chisholm, will bring the animals to life with their playful antics, costumes, and puppetry.
