Share your ideas for the future of our museum. He Kākano – The beginnings of our new Whare Taonga invites the Rotorua community to come together to brainstorm what themes, experiences and stories they want to see included in the reopened Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa Rotorua Museum.

Learn about the history of our Museum, the re-strengthening project, and what it takes to create a new exhibition.

Designed for all ages to take part, come along and share a drawing of your dream museum exhibition, one of your favourite Rotorua stories, or an idea for how to bring our unique history to life.
