Rotorua UkeBox Ukulele Open Mic and Strum Along
Rotorua UkeBox
Pluckers and non-pluckers all welcome! Come and enjoy the sound of ukulele’s in the Te Rūnanga Tea House (Government Gardens).
Chord charts will be projected on a screen for everyone to join in as Rotorua’s own ukulele group, the Thermaleles, lead a community sing/play along and an open mic session for anyone who would like to perform.
There’s nothing like a sing-along to raise your spirits! So dust off your uke, warm up your tonsils and strum or sing along with the lovely folks who come to UkeBox.
Requests for material to be covered or songsheets to be used during UkeBox, should be emailed to Julie.parsons@rotorualc.nz or posted to the RotoruaUkeBox Facebook page.
Participation and watching UkeBox performances is free of charge, although UkeBox will be asking for a gold coin donation to assist with costs.
