The Arts Village

The Arts Village is a vibrant community organisation with art-based opportunities for the Rotorua community and visitors. Today its occupies an important place in the local artistic community, the envy of most other centres in the country, where a permanent, purpose-built arts centre is only an impossible dream. As well as galleries, work and meeting spaces and shop, the venue is home to a delicious cafe. The Arts Village is situated as an integral part of Paepaehakumanu (Government Gardens) and runs a wide range of exhibitions and community events.
